Several years ago, I saw a sign that read “Do more of what makes you happy.” It spoke to me - a lot. My amazing husband Ray supported me in trading in my stethoscope to stay home with our 3 small kiddos to do more of what made me happy.
In pursuing one thing that brought me joy, I couldn’t help but feel that I lost a little of my identity. The creative process in rediscovering my art minor has reclaimed some space in the “more of what makes me happy.”
